The SWR053P1 case is made of stainless steel, with a diameter of 18.9mm and a thickness of 4.9mm (lug-to-lug: 28.4mm). The dial is protected by Hardlex crystal, Seiko's hardened mineral crystal, which is more shock-resistant than untreated mineral crystal and can be polished in case of light scratches. The case back is solid and screwed down. The lug width is 20 mm.
Movement
The SWR053P1 runs on the Seiko 4N30 manufacture quartz caliber, a 2-hand movement without seconds, accurate to ±15 sec/month, with an approximate power reserve of 3 years.
Strap
The SWR053P1 is fitted with a leather strap with a pin buckle. The 20 mm lug width allows for easy changing.
