The Casio F-B100W-1B adopts the compact and recognizable format of Casio digital watches while adding connected functions. Its LCD screen displays essential information and its integrated sensor automatically counts the steps taken throughout the day. Thanks to Bluetooth, the watch can also communicate with a smartphone via the CASIO WATCHES app to facilitate settings and synchronize the time.

Collection

The F-B100W-1B is part of the Casio Standard collection. It maintains the simple and functional approach of the brand's digital watches, with a lightweight format and direct display readability. Its main appeal lies in the combination of this classic design, daily activity tracking, and Mobile Link functions.

Case

The resin case measures 41.9 × 38.1 × 8.8 mm and weighs only 26 g. The watch is equipped with a resin crystal and an amber LED backlight. The illumination duration can be set to 1.5 or 3 seconds, with an afterglow function that keeps the display lit after the backlight is activated.

Movement

This watch runs on the Casio 3589 module and a quartz movement. Its accuracy is ±15 seconds per month without using the Mobile Link function. It displays the hour, minutes, seconds, year, month, date, and day of the week, with a choice between 12- and 24-hour formats. Its calendar is fully automatic until 2099.

Features

The F-B100W-1B includes a step counter that automatically measures activity and displays up to 999,999 steps. A daily goal can be set between 1,000 and 50,000 steps, with an indicator to track progress. The watch can also signal insufficient activity and display a graph representing the number of steps taken over the last seven hours.

With the Mobile Link Bluetooth function, the watch connects to the free CASIO WATCHES app. This connection allows for automatic time adjustment, simplified watch settings, and access to approximately 300 cities for world time. Life log data can also be transferred to the app, including time and location information. Finally, the watch can use the Phone Finder function to locate a connected smartphone.

For time measurements, the stopwatch offers 1/100-second accuracy for the first 60 minutes, then 1/10-second accuracy thereafter. It measures elapsed time, split times, and lap times, with the ability to record up to 200 measurements. The countdown timer can be set for up to 60 minutes, with a configurable start time from 1 second to 60 minutes.

The watch also features 5 daily alarms, an hourly time signal, a button mute function, and an activatable/deactivatable power-saving mode. A low battery warning is also provided.

Strap

The resin strap adopts a split construction that complements the watch's compact case. The main resin components of the strap use bio-based resin made from renewable organic resources. The design remains lightweight and suitable for daily use.

Battery Life

The Casio F-B100W-1B runs on a CR2016 battery and offers a battery life of approximately 2 years. It thus combines simple quartz operation, step tracking, and Bluetooth functions without requiring regular recharging.
