Case

The case of the SSK021K1 is made of stainless steel, with a diameter of 42.5mm and a thickness of 13.6mm (lug-to-lug: 46.0mm). The dial is protected by a Hardlex crystal, Seiko's hardened mineral crystal, which is more shock-resistant than untreated mineral crystal and can be polished in case of light scratches. The exhibition case back reveals the movement from the outside. The lug width is 22 mm.

Movement

The SSK021K1 is equipped with the Seiko 4R34 automatic caliber (GMT, 24 jewels, 21,600 vph, 41 hours power reserve). Its dedicated GMT hand makes one revolution in 24 hours to indicate a second time zone.

Bracelet

The SSK021K1 is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet with a deployant clasp, with a lug width of 22 mm.
