Presentation

The Seiko 5 Sports SRPE53K1 features a brilliant blue dial with a sunray effect that changes appearance depending on the light. This watch is equipped with LumiBrite on the hands and markers to remain legible in the dark. The day/date window, located at 3 o'clock, is easy to read and practical for daily use.

The 40mm stainless steel case is accompanied by a matching metal bracelet, closed by a deployant clasp that ensures a secure fit on the wrist. Inside, the Seiko 4R36 automatic movement includes manual winding and a hacking function, offering a power reserve of 41 hours.

The Hardlex glass on top protects against scratches and minor impacts. Water-resistant up to 100 meters, the watch is suitable for swimming or occasional diving. With its elegant look and practical features, the SRPE53K1 is perfect for daily use, combining style and durability.

Case

The case of the SRPE53K1 is made of stainless steel, with a diameter of 40.0mm and a thickness of 11.5mm (lug-to-lug: 44.6mm). Dial protection is provided by Hardlex, Seiko's proprietary hardened mineral glass: more impact-resistant than standard mineral glass and more flexible than sapphire. The case back is transparent, offering a view of the movement and its rotor. The lug width is 22 mm.

Movement

The heart of the SRPE53K1 is the automatic Seiko 4R36 caliber (in-house, 24 jewels, 21,600 alt/h). Its power reserve is 41 hours and it features hacking and manual winding.

Bracelet

The SRPE53K1 comes with a stainless steel bracelet with a deployant buckle. The 22 mm lug width allows for easy adaptation of an aftermarket strap.
