Introduction

The Seiko 5 Sports SRPK69, from the "U.S. Special Creation" series, is inspired by vintage racing cars with its blue dial adorned with white stripes, evoking the classic liveries of old-school speedsters. This special edition, reserved for the American market, reflects the spirit of historical automobile races.

The 42.5 mm stainless steel case houses a 24-jewel automatic movement, beating at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, offering a power reserve of approximately 41 hours and manual winding capability. The dial features a day/date display, a blue second hand, as well as luminescent hands and markers for optimal legibility. The blue unidirectional rotating bezel frames the dial, adding a sporty touch to the ensemble.

The transparent screw-down case back allows for admiration of the movement in action, while the blue and white striped nylon strap ensures comfortable and secure wear. With water resistance up to 100 meters, this watch is suitable for daily activities and light water sports.

Case

The case of the SRPK69 is made of stainless steel, with a diameter of 42.5mm and a thickness of 13.4mm (lug-to-lug: 46.0mm). A Seiko Hardlex crystal covers the dial. This thermally hardened mineral crystal is more shock-resistant than ordinary mineral glass, while remaining polishable if necessary. The lug width is 22 mm.

Movement

The SRPK69 is equipped with the Seiko 4R36 in-house automatic caliber, 24 jewels, 21,600 alt/h, 41-hour power reserve, with hacking and manual winding.

Strap

The SRPK69 features a nylon strap with a pin buckle. The lug width is 22 mm.
