The case of the A158WA-1DF is made of high-resistance resin, with a diameter of 33.2mm and a thickness of 8.2mm (lug-to-lug: 36.8mm). This resin absorbs shocks better than steel and does not corrode. The dial protection is provided by a resin glass, lightweight and impact-resistant. The case back is solid and screwed. The lug width is 8 mm.

The A158WA-1 is equipped with a Casio digital module managing time, date, stopwatch, and alarm.
