Overview

Orient launched the Bambino in the early 2010s; its domed glass, understated dial, and automatic caliber have since made it one of the most popular Japanese dress watches, at a still reasonable price. This reference, TAG00001S0, is recognizable by its silver dial with an open-heart aperture.

Case

Fixed bezel, mineral crystal, Roman numeral markers: the front face adheres to the brand's codes. On the scale, 12 mm thick for 43 mm in diameter: the stainless steel case of the TAG00001S0 in a few figures. This watch features a transparent sapphire case back that reveals the movement and its balance wheel, with a lug width of 22 mm, water-resistant up to 3 ATM / 30 meters.

Movement

Orient equips the TAG00001S0 with its F6T22 caliber, an in-house developed automatic movement; two functions accompany this caliber: stop-seconds and manual winding; once wound, it offers approximately 40 hours of power reserve.

Strap

Screwed to the case of the TAG00001S0, the strap is made of brown leather. Featuring a pin buckle, it adjusts to a lug width of 22 mm, a format that facilitates a future strap change.
