Overview

The Bambino has been around since the early 2010s and remains one of Orient's best-selling automatic series, recognizable by its domed crystal and deliberately understated lines at an affordable price. The RA-AK0801S30B version features a white dial, a shade that gives it its own personality within the range.

Case

The RA-AK0801S30B features a stainless steel case measuring 41.5 mm in diameter and 14.2 mm thick. In terms of finish, on the dial side: Roman numerals, a mineral crystal, and a fixed bezel, and it benefits from a transparent case back that reveals the automatic movement beating through the glass. Lug width: 21 mm. Water resistance is rated at 3 ATM / 30 meters.

Movement

Orient chose its F6B24 caliber to power the RA-AK0801S30B, which offers approximately 40 hours of power reserve when fully wound. Adjustment is made easy thanks to the hacking seconds and manual winding, two standards of recent Orient calibers.

Strap

Screwed to the case of the RA-AK0801S30B, the strap is made of brown leather; for the clasp, Orient chose a pin buckle; the lug width is 21 mm.
