Presentation

Released to compete with minimalist watches, the Contemporary maintains a true in-house manufactured automatic movement, whereas many rival brands settle for a quartz movement for this type of design. With the RA-AC0J09L30B, Orient offers a blue dial.

Case

For the RA-AC0J09L30B, Orient has crafted a stainless steel case measuring 42.4 mm in diameter and 11.2 mm thick. On the dial side: numerals, a sapphire crystal, and a fixed bezel. Finally, the watch features a transparent case back that allows the automatic movement to be seen beating through the glass. The lug width is 20 mm, for a water resistance of 5 ATM / 50 meters.

Movement

Under the case of the RA-AC0J09L30B beats the F6722 caliber, an automatic movement manufactured by Orient. When fully wound, this caliber runs for approximately 40 hours before needing to be restarted. Like most in-house calibers designed by the brand since 2016, it benefits from hacking seconds and manual winding.

Strap

The RA-AC0J09L30B comes with a silver stainless steel bracelet. A deployant clasp secures the bracelet, which has a lug width of 20 mm.
