Overview

The Contemporary is Orient's answer to the minimalist watches that have flooded the market: a sober case, a clean dial, but a true in-house automatic movement, whereas most competitors are limited to quartz. Within this range, the RA-AR0001S30B features a white dial and its characteristic open heart window.

Case

40.8 mm on the wrist, 10.9 mm thick: the RA-AR0001S30B plays the card of a stainless steel case with balanced dimensions. Under a sapphire crystal, the index dial is encircled by a fixed bezel, and at the back, a transparent case back that showcases the movement rather than hiding it; the lug width is set at 22 mm, for 5 ATM / 50 meters of water resistance.

Movement

The Orient RA-AR0001S30B is powered by the F6S22 caliber, an automatic movement developed in-house by Orient; it features hacking seconds and manual winding, two attributes that distinguish Orient calibers; once wound, it offers approximately 40 hours of power reserve.

Bracelet

A silver and gold stainless steel bracelet equips the RA-AR0001S30B: equipped with a folding clasp, it is set on a 22 mm lug width, a format that facilitates a future strap change.
