Designed with the popular minimalist aesthetic in mind, the Contemporary nonetheless features an automatic movement developed in-house by Orient, a rare choice in this segment usually dominated by quartz. The RA-AR0009L30B is recognizable by its blue dial with an open-heart aperture.

Case

Orient crafts the case of the RA-AR0009L30B from stainless steel, with a diameter of 40.8 mm and 10.9 mm under the crown. The crystal is mineral, the bezel is fixed, and the dial is structured with applied indices. Finally, on the back, a sapphire case back transforms the rear of the watch into a display window for the movement; the lug width is 22 mm, and it offers 5 ATM / 50 meters of water resistance.

Movement

The RA-AR0009L30B is powered by the F6S22 caliber, an automatic movement developed and assembled by Orient. Its power reserve is approximately 40 hours when fully wound.

Strap

The bracelet of the RA-AR0009L30B is made of silver-colored stainless steel, with a deployant clasp; at the lugs, it features a classic 22 mm lug width.
