Overview

The Contemporary is Orient's answer to the minimalist watches that have flooded the market: a simple case, a clean dial, but a true in-house automatic movement, while most competitors stick to quartz. The RA-BA0006B30B version features a black dial.

Case

The Orient RA-BA0006B30B houses a stainless steel case measuring 43.5 mm in diameter and 11.5 mm thick. In terms of finishes, under a mineral glass, the index dial is encircled by a fixed bezel, and this watch features a transparent case back offering a clear view of the automatic movement. It has a lug width of 22 mm and is water-resistant up to 5 ATM / 50 meters.

Movement

The Orient RA-BA0006B30B is powered by the F6D22 caliber, an automatic movement developed in-house by Orient, with a power reserve of approximately 40 hours when fully wound. Adjustment is made easy thanks to the hacking seconds and manual winding, two standards of recent Orient calibers.

Strap

Orient has chosen a black leather strap for the RA-BA0006B30B; equipped with a pin buckle, it adjusts to a 22 mm lug width, a size that facilitates future strap changes.
