Overview

For the Mako II, Orient has reworked the legibility and robustness of the first generation's case, while retaining the same in-house automatic caliber. The TAA02002D9 version stands out with its blue dial.

Case

Orient crafts the TAA02002D9's case from stainless steel, with a diameter of 41.5 mm and 13 mm under the crown; the unidirectional rotating bezel surrounds an index dial, protected by a mineral crystal; the watch features a solid case back, classic for this type of case, and the lug width is set at 22 mm. Water resistance: 20 ATM / 200 meters.

Movement

Orient has equipped the TAA02002D9 with the Caliber F6922, an in-house automatic movement; no unpleasant surprises when it comes to adjustment: hacking seconds and manual winding are both present; expect around 40 hours of power reserve once the movement is fully wound.

Bracelet

The TAA02002D9 also stands out with its silver stainless steel bracelet, featuring a deployant clasp; for connection, a classic 22 mm lug width.
