The Mako II builds on the foundations of the original Mako by improving readability and case strength, without altering the in-house automatic caliber manufactured by Orient that made the lineage so successful. Identifiable by its reference TAA02009D9, this watch comes with a blue dial.

Case

The stainless steel case of the TAA02009D9 measures 41.5 mm in diameter and 13 mm thick, with the unidirectional rotating bezel surrounding a dial with markers, protected by a mineral glass. In addition, there is a solid case back that prioritizes movement protection over display, with a lug width of 22 mm, water resistant up to 20 ATM / 200 meters.

Movement

The TAA02009D9 is powered by the F6922 caliber, an automatic movement entirely designed by Orient. The hacking seconds and manual winding, inherited from the latest in-house calibers, make it easier to set. Fully wound, it lasts approximately 40 hours.
