Orient Mako RA-TX0207R10B: Japanese Solar Diver's Watch with Red Dial

Overview

The Mako, launched in 2008, is best known for its in-house automatic movement; this Solar Chronograph version is an exception, opting for a solar movement rather than the usual movement for the range. The RA-TX0207R10B variant features a red dial.

Case

The Orient RA-TX0207R10B features a 42.8 mm diameter and 13.1 mm thickness, in a stainless steel case. Nothing unusual on the dial side: numerals, sapphire crystal, unidirectional rotating bezel, and the watch is equipped with a solid case back, without embellishments. The lug width is 22 mm, for a water resistance of 20 ATM / 200 meters.

Movement

The Orient RA-TX0207R10B is powered by the VS752 caliber, a solar movement that converts light captured by the dial into energy. Once fully charged, the watch has an autonomy of approximately 6 months (full charge) without additional exposure to light.

Bracelet

For the RA-TX0207R10B, Orient opts for a silver stainless steel bracelet, fitted with a deployant clasp, the standard lug width is 22 mm.
