The Ray II, released in 2016 following the success of the Mako, features a more pronounced diving design, with a unidirectional rotating bezel and an Orient automatic caliber. Within this range, the TAA02005D9 opts for a blue dial.

Case

Orient crafts the case of the TAA02005D9 in stainless steel, with a diameter of 41.5 mm and 13 mm under the crown. The crystal is mineral, the bezel is unidirectional rotating, the dial is structured with indices, and the watch features a solid, unadorned case back, with a lug width of 22 mm. Water resistance: 20 ATM / 200 meters.

Two functions accompany this caliber: hacking seconds and manual winding. This is the case with the piece we are interested in: for the TAA02005D9, Orient chose the F6922 caliber, an in-house manufactured automatic movement, and the power reserve announced by Orient is approximately 40 hours.

For the TAA02005D9, the choice falls on a silver stainless steel bracelet. A deployant clasp ensures closure, with a lug width of 22 mm.
