Ray II TAA02008D9, black dial, automatic movement
Overview
Launched in 2016 to build on the success of the Mako, the Ray II adopts a more assertive diver style, with a unidirectional rotating bezel and an in-house manufactured automatic caliber. The TAA02008D9 stands out in the collection with its black dial.
Case
Dial side: indices, mineral glass, and a unidirectional rotating bezel. The Orient TAA02008D9's case is made of stainless steel, with a diameter of 41.5 mm and a thickness of 13 mm. It features a solid case back, which hermetically seals the case, a lug width of 22 mm, and an announced water resistance of 20 ATM / 200 meters.
Movement
For the TAA02008D9, Orient relies on the F6922 caliber, an in-house manufactured automatic movement. It incorporates the stop-second and manual winding features common to the brand's recent in-house calibers. Announced power reserve: approximately 40 hours.
Strap
The strap supplied with the TAA02008D9 is made of black resin, fitted with a pin buckle, and adjusts to a lug width of 22 mm, a size that facilitates future strap changes.
