Overview

Orient Star has been hand-assembling its mechanical watches in Akita since 1951. The Classic is its most stripped-down version, true to the codes of the timeless chic watch. For the RE-AT0001L00B, Orient opted for a blue dial, with its open-heart cutout.

Case

For the RE-AT0001L00B, Orient has crafted a stainless steel case measuring 39.3 mm in diameter and 12.2 mm thick; the fixed bezel frames a mineral crystal and a dial punctuated with Roman numerals; the watch features a sapphire case back that transforms the back of the case into a display window for the movement, with a lug width of 20 mm; water resistance of 10 ATM / 100 meters.

Movement

For Orient, the RE-AT0001L00B is powered by the F6R42 caliber, an in-house manufactured automatic movement, with a power reserve announced by Orient of approximately 50 hours. It features a stop-second function and manual winding, two attributes that distinguish Orient calibers.

Strap

The strap of the RE-AT0001L00B is made of silver-colored stainless steel. For the clasp, Orient chose a deployant buckle; the lug width is 20 mm.
