Overview

Orient Star has been hand-assembling its mechanical watches in Akita since 1951. The Classic is its most stripped-down version, faithful to the codes of the timeless chic watch. This piece, RE-AT0003S00B, opts for a white dial, with its open heart cut-out.

Case

In terms of size, the RE-AT0003S00B measures 39.3 mm in diameter and 12.2 mm in thickness, in a stainless steel case. On the dial side: Roman numerals, a mineral crystal and a fixed bezel, and the watch features a transparent case back that showcases the caliber rather than hiding it. The lug width is 20 mm, for a water resistance of 10 ATM / 100 meters.

Movement

For the RE-AT0003S00B, Orient chose the F6R42 caliber, an in-house manufactured automatic movement: easy adjustment thanks to the stop-second and manual winding, two standards of recent Orient calibers. In practice, once wound, it offers approximately 50 hours of power reserve.

Strap

The RE-AT0003S00B comes with a silver stainless steel bracelet. For the clasp, Orient has chosen a deployant buckle; the lug width is 20 mm.
