Orient Star has existed since 1951 and encompasses the brand's high-end mechanical watches, hand-assembled in Akita. Its Contemporary line offers a modern interpretation, both understated and refined. Identifiable by its reference RE-ND0012L00B, this watch features a blue dial, including the open heart.

Case

The Orient RE-ND0012L00B is distinguished by a 31mm stainless steel case, only 11mm thick. In terms of finishes, it features a mineral glass, a fixed bezel, and a dial with Roman numerals, and a sapphire case back that transforms the back of the case into a window to the movement, with a lug width of 14mm, water-resistant up to 5 ATM / 50 meters.

Movement

For the RE-ND0012L00B, Orient has opted for the caliber 55C22, an in-house manufactured automatic movement. Like most of the brand's in-house calibers designed since 2016, it benefits from hacking seconds and manual winding. Once wound, it offers approximately 40 hours of power reserve.

Strap

The strap supplied with the RE-ND0012L00B is made of blue leather: closed by a deployant clasp, it connects to the case via a 14mm lug width.
