Overview
The Seiko 5 SNKK84K1 is an elegant, fully gold-plated 38mm watch. It features the automatic caliber 7S26 movement with 21 jewels and a power reserve of approximately 40 hours. Protected by a Hardlex crystal, it has a white dial, luminous hands, and a day/date window at 3 o'clock. Its gold metallic bracelet is complemented by a transparent caseback, with water resistance of 30 meters.
Case
The case of the SNKK84K1 is made of stainless steel, with a diameter of 38.0mm and a thickness of 11.0mm. The dial is protected by Hardlex, Seiko's proprietary hardened mineral glass: more shock-resistant than standard mineral glass and more flexible than sapphire. The lug width is 20 mm.
Movement
The engine of the SNKK84K1 is the Seiko 7S26 caliber, an in-house automatic movement with 21 jewels (21,600 vph, approximately 41 hours power reserve), which has equipped classic Seiko 5s since 1996.
Bracelet
The SNKK84K1 comes with a stainless steel bracelet, secured by a folding clasp whose two push-buttons prevent accidental opening. The lug width is 20 mm.
