This thermally hardened mineral crystal is more resistant to shocks than ordinary mineral glass, while remaining polishable if necessary. The transparent case back exposes the caliber and its oscillating rotor. The lug width is 18 mm.

The SNXS80K1 is equipped with the Seiko 7S26 automatic caliber, a 21-jewel movement beating at 21,600 alt/h. Its power reserve is approximately 41 hours.
