The Seiko SNZG13K1 is part of the Seiko 5 Sports range. This sporty and accessible collection offers a reliable 7S36 automatic base in a 42mm steel case, water-resistant to 100m — sufficient for swimming and active daily life. The black dial and unidirectional bezel provide optimal readability.

Case

Made of stainless steel, the case of the Seiko SNZG13K1 measures 42mm in diameter and is 12mm thick. The bezel is fixed. The dial is protected by a Hardlex crystal, Seiko's proprietary treatment for light scratches. The case back is exhibition (transparent), allowing observation of the movement in operation. Its water resistance is 100m, sufficient for swimming and snorkeling. The indices and hands are coated with LumiBrite, Seiko's luminescent material for extended nighttime readability.

Movement

The Seiko SNZG13K1 is powered by the automatic caliber 7S36, offering a power reserve of approximately 41 hours. This movement does not have hacking (stop-seconds for time setting) or manual winding — two intentionally absent functions on this entry-level caliber. Its accuracy fluctuates around ±15 seconds per day, which is expected for an automatic movement in this segment. The day-date display is positioned at 3 o'clock.

Strap

The stainless steel bracelet of the Seiko SNZG13K1, fastened by a folding clasp, complements the case coherently. The lug width is 22mm.
