The Seiko SSG009 belongs to Seiko's Coutura Radio Sync Solar Chronograph collection. This silver-toned steel model with a gray bezel and black dial with blue accents combines sleek design with high technology: solar-powered, automatic radio synchronization, and a full chronograph.

Case

The case of the Seiko SSG009 is made of stainless steel, with a diameter of 44.5 mm. The black dial is protected by a sapphire crystal. The case back is screwed down. It is water-resistant to 100 m (10 bar). The hands and markers are coated with LumiBrite. The gray bezel displays 25 time zones. The date display is positioned at 5 o'clock.

Movement

The Seiko SSG009 is powered by the solar-powered radio-synchronized caliber 8B92, rechargeable by light with a power reserve of approximately 6 months. The chronograph measures up to 60 minutes in 1/5 second increments with split time. No battery change is necessary.

Bracelet

The Seiko SSG009 is equipped with a stainless steel bracelet, fastened by a push-button deployment clasp. The lug width is 26 mm.
