The Seiko SPB331J1 belongs to the Presage Sharp Edged collection, inspired by Edo Kiriko glass craftsmanship. The dial surface features beveled geometric facets that create shifting reflections. 44.3 mm case, 6R35 caliber, sapphire crystal.

Case

The case of the Seiko SPB331J1 is made of stainless steel, with a diameter of 44.3 mm and a thickness of 13.4 mm. The bezel is fixed. The Brown dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, the most scratch-resistant, with anti-reflective treatment. The case back is exhibition (transparent), allowing observation of the movement in operation. The water resistance is 200 m, in compliance with ISO 6425 diving standards.

Movement

The Seiko SPB331J1 is powered by the automatic caliber 6R35, offering a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The 6R caliber is the high-end of Seiko's production automatic movements: it features hacking and manual winding, and offers a significantly higher power reserve than 4R calibers.

Strap

The Seiko SPB331J1 is equipped with a leather strap, adding a dressy touch to this model, secured by a folding clasp, which facilitates putting on and taking off the watch while securing the strap to the wrist. The lug width is 20 mm.
