The Seiko Prospex Speedtimer SSC927 belongs to the Prospex Speedtimer collection, inspired by the famous Speedtimer chronograph launched by Seiko in 1969. This edition stands out with its intense red dial contrasted by three black sub-dials, a design inspired by the world of vintage racing cars. The hands and markers are treated with LumiBrite to ensure optimal readability in the dark, while the tachymeter bezel reinforces the sporty character of this chronograph.

Case

The case is made of stainless steel and has a diameter of 41.4 mm, a thickness of approximately 13 mm, and a lug-to-lug length of 45.9 mm. The watch is equipped with a black tachymeter bezel to measure average speed. The dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on the inside. The watch ensures water resistance of 10 bar (100 meters) and has a lug width of 21 mm.

Movement

The SSC927 is powered by the Seiko V192 caliber, a solar quartz movement powered by natural or artificial light. Once fully charged, it offers a power reserve of approximately 6 months and an accuracy of approximately ±15 seconds per month. This movement incorporates a 1/5th second chronograph measuring up to 60 minutes, a small seconds hand, a 24-hour hand, a power reserve indicator, a tachymeter, and a date display.

Bracelet

The watch is equipped with a robust and comfortable stainless steel bracelet, perfectly matching the case. It features a deployant clasp with push-button release ensuring a secure closure and optimal fit on the wrist.
