The case of the SYMK20K1 is made of stainless steel, with a diameter of 25.0mm and a thickness of 10.0mm. The dial is protected by Hardlex crystal, Seiko's hardened mineral glass, which is more shock-resistant than untreated mineral glass and can be polished in case of light scratches. The caseback is solid.
