Casio F-91WF-1A: The classic F-91 revisited with a recycled fabric strap
The F-91WF-1A takes the DNA of the legendary F-91, with its digital LCD display and its compact, well-known case, but changes the game when it comes to the strap: it now features a material woven from recycled fibers, lighter and more comfortable on the wrist than classic resin.
Case and wrist comfort
The resin case measures 38.2 x 35.2 x 8.5 mm for a feather-light weight of just 21 g. The glass is made of mineral glass, and the water resistance, announced at 30 meters, allows the watch to be kept on the wrist in the rain or during a quick wash, without diving.
A fabric strap that changes everything
The recycled fiber strap stands out for its lightness and flexibility, while remaining resistant to scratches and dirt. A choice designed for everyday use as well as for more active or outdoor activities.
Display and functions
The digital display shows the hour, minute, second, AM/PM indicator, date and day, with an automatic calendar that takes into account months of 28, 30 and 31 days. The 12 or 24-hour format is selectable, and an LED backlight facilitates reading in low light.
Stopwatch and alarm
The F-91WF-1A features a 1/100-second stopwatch, with a measurement capacity of up to 59'59.99" and several modes: elapsed time, split time, and 1st/2nd place times. A daily alarm and an hourly time signal complete the practical functions of the model.
Movement and battery life
The Casio 593 caliber boasts an accuracy of ±30 seconds per month. As for the battery, the CR2016 offers a remarkable autonomy of approximately 7 years before replacement.
