Seiko SYMF78J1: Automatic 25mm Two-tone Steel and Gold with Black Dial and Day-Date

The Seiko 5 line includes automatic watches with day-date display and battery-free mechanical movement. The women's versions retain this architecture in a compact stainless steel format.

The SYMF78J1 features a two-tone configuration combining steel and gold elements, with a black dial. The display includes hours, minutes, central seconds, and a day-date window positioned at 3 o'clock. The inscription "Automatic 21 Jewels" appears on the dial.

Case

The round stainless steel case measures 25mm in diameter and 10mm thick. The black dial is protected by a Hardlex crystal. Water resistance is rated at 30 meters, corresponding to splash resistance.

Movement

This reference is equipped with the automatic caliber Seiko 4207 (21 jewels). Winding is performed by a rotor and allows for the display of hours, minutes, seconds, as well as day and date, without the use of a battery.

Bracelet

The stainless steel bracelet with central gold-plated elements is fitted with a deployant clasp. The links alternate between polished and satin finishes. The watch comes with its original box and warranty booklet.
