Collection

The Seiko SRP605K2 is part of the Seiko 5 Sports range. This sporty and accessible collection features a reliable 4R36 automatic movement in a 42.5 mm steel case, water-resistant to 100 m — sufficient for swimming and active daily wear. The blue dial and unidirectional bezel provide optimal legibility.

Case

Made of stainless steel, the case of the Seiko SRP605K2 measures 42.5 mm in diameter and is 13 mm thick. The unidirectional rotating bezel allows for precise measurement of dive times. The dial is protected by a Hardlex crystal, Seiko's proprietary treatment for minor scratches. The case back is exhibition (transparent), allowing the movement to be observed in operation. Water resistance is 100 m, sufficient for swimming and snorkeling. The indexes and hands are coated with LumiBrite, Seiko's luminous material for prolonged nighttime legibility.

Movement

The Seiko SRP605K2 is powered by the automatic caliber 4R36, offering a power reserve of approximately 41 hours. It includes hacking (stop-seconds for precise time setting) and manual winding, two conveniences absent on the previous generation 7S26 caliber. The day-date display is positioned at 3 o'clock.

Strap

The rubber strap of the Seiko SRP605K2, closed by a pin buckle, complements the case consistently. The lug width is 22 mm.
