The Seiko SNZB24J1 is part of the Seiko 5 Sports range. This sporty and accessible collection offers a reliable 7S36 automatic base in a 42mm steel case, water-resistant to 100m—sufficient for swimming and active daily life. The white dial and unidirectional bezel provide optimal readability.

Case

Made of stainless steel, the case of the Seiko SNZB24J1 measures 42mm in diameter and 12mm in thickness. The unidirectional rotating bezel allows for precise measurement of dive times. The dial is protected by Hardlex glass, a proprietary Seiko treatment for light scratches. The case back is exhibition (transparent), allowing observation of the movement in operation. The water resistance is 100m, sufficient for swimming and snorkeling. The indexes and hands are coated with LumiBrite, Seiko's luminescent for extended nighttime readability.

Movement

The Seiko SNZB24J1 is powered by the automatic caliber 7S36, offering a power reserve of approximately 41 hours. This movement does not have hacking (stop-seconds for time setting) or manual winding—two functions intentionally absent from this entry-level caliber. Its accuracy oscillates around ±15 seconds per day, which is expected for an automatic movement in this segment. The day-date display is positioned at 3 o'clock.

Bracelet

The stainless steel bracelet of the Seiko SNZB24J1, closed by a folding clasp, complements the case coherently. The lug width is 22mm.
