The Seiko SNZF64K1 is part of the Seiko 5 Sports range. This sporty and accessible collection features a reliable 7S36 automatic movement in a 42mm steel case, water resistant to 100m – sufficient for swimming and active daily wear. The gold dial and unidirectional bezel provide optimal legibility.

Case

The stainless steel case of the Seiko SNZF64K1 measures 42mm in diameter and 12mm thick. The bezel is bi-directional rotating. The dial is protected by Hardlex crystal, Seiko's proprietary treatment for light scratches. The case back is exhibition (transparent), allowing observation of the movement in operation. Its water resistance is 100m, sufficient for swimming and snorkeling. The indexes and hands are coated with LumiBrite, Seiko's luminescent material for extended nocturnal legibility.

Movement

The Seiko SNZF64K1 is powered by the automatic caliber 7S36, offering a power reserve of approximately 41 hours. This movement does not have hacking (seconds hand stop for time setting) or manual winding – two functions intentionally absent on this entry-level caliber. Its accuracy hovers around ±15 seconds per day, which is expected for an automatic movement in this segment. The day-date display is positioned at 3 o'clock.

Bracelet

The stainless steel bracelet of the Seiko SNZF64K1, secured by a folding clasp, complements the case coherently. The lug width is 22mm.
