Collection

The Seiko SRPG37K1 belongs to the Seiko 5 Sports Field range. This segment of the collection is inspired by military and field watches: quickly legible dial, robust construction, durable nylon strap. Automatic 4R36, 42.5 mm, 100 m water resistance.

Case

Made of stainless steel, the case of the Seiko SRPG37K1 measures 42.5 mm in diameter and 13 mm in thickness. The bezel is fixed. The dial is protected by a Hardlex crystal, Seiko's proprietary treatment for light scratches. The case back is exhibition (transparent), allowing observation of the movement in operation. The water resistance is 100 m, sufficient for swimming and snorkeling. The indexes and hands are coated with LumiBrite, Seiko's luminescent material for extended night-time legibility.

Movement

The Seiko SRPG37K1 is powered by the automatic calibre 4R36, offering a power reserve of approximately 41 hours. It includes hacking (stop seconds for precise time setting) and manual winding, two conveniences absent on the previous generation 7S26 calibre. The day-date display is positioned at 3 o'clock.

Strap

The nylon strap in NATO style of the Seiko SRPG37K1, closed by a pin buckle, complements the case coherently. The lug width is 22 mm.
