Case

Made of stainless steel, the case of the Seiko SRPJ81K1 measures 42.5 mm in diameter and 13 mm in thickness. The bezel is fixed. The dial is protected by a Hardlex crystal, Seiko's proprietary treatment for light scratches. The case back is exhibition (transparent), allowing observation of the movement in operation. The water resistance is 100 m, sufficient for swimming and snorkeling. The indexes and hands are coated with LumiBrite, Seiko's luminescent for prolonged night readability.

Movement

The Seiko SRPJ81K1 is powered by the automatic caliber 4R36, offering a power reserve of approximately 41 hours. It integrates hacking (stop seconds hand for precise time setting) and manual winding, two conveniences absent on the previous generation 7S26 caliber. The day-date display is positioned at 3 o'clock.

Bracelet

The stainless steel bracelet of the Seiko SRPJ81K1, closed by a folding clasp, complements the case coherently. The lug width is 22 mm.
