Collection

The Seiko SRPL05K1 belongs to the Seiko 5 Sports range. This sporty and accessible collection features a reliable 4R36 automatic movement in a 42.5 mm steel case, water-resistant to 100 m – sufficient for swimming and daily active wear. The black dial and unidirectional bezel provide optimal readability.

Case

Made of stainless steel, the case of the Seiko SRPL05K1 measures 42.5 mm in diameter and 13 mm in thickness. The bezel is bi-directional rotating. The dial is protected by Hardlex glass, a proprietary Seiko treatment for light scratches. The case back is exhibition (transparent), allowing observation of the movement in operation. Water resistance is 100 m, sufficient for swimming and snorkeling. The indexes and hands are coated with LumiBrite, Seiko's luminescent material for extended nighttime readability.

Movement

The Seiko SRPL05K1 is powered by the automatic caliber 4R36, offering a power reserve of approximately 41 hours. It includes hacking (stop-second function for precise time setting) and manual winding, two conveniences absent from the previous generation 7S26 caliber. The day-date display is positioned at 3 o'clock.

Strap

The stainless steel bracelet of the Seiko SRPL05K1, secured by a folding clasp, complements the case coherently. The lug width is 22 mm.
