The case of the Seiko SRPM09K1 is made of stainless steel, with a diameter of 39.4 mm and a thickness of approximately 13 mm. The unidirectional rotating bezel adds a distinctive sporty character. The green dial is protected by a Hardlex glass. The case back is screw-down exhibition (transparent). Water resistance is 100 m (10 bar). The indices and hands are coated with LumiBrite.

The Seiko SRPM09K1 is powered by the automatic caliber 4R36, offering a power reserve of approximately 41 hours. It features hacking and manual winding. The day/date display is positioned at 3 o'clock.
