Seiko has been making watches for the visually impaired since 1939, being one of the few manufacturers to have maintained this commitment for nearly a century. The SWL002J5 adopts the same proven principle: a hinged acrylic crystal that opens to reveal a dial with raised hands and indices, allowing the time to be read solely by touch, discreetly and independently. Its two-tone silver and gold finish gives it an elegant appearance that in no way betrays its inclusive function.

Case

The case of the Seiko SWL002J5 is made of stainless steel with a two-tone silver and gold finish, with a diameter of 26 mm. The acrylic crystal opens on a hinge to provide access to the tactile dial. The hour and minute hands are raised and clearly differentiated by touch. The raised indices facilitate orientation on the dial, with more pronounced markers at key positions.
