Case

The case of the Seiko SSB399P1 is made of stainless steel, with a diameter of 44 mm and a thickness of 11.2 mm. The bezel is fixed. The black dial is protected by a Hardlex glass, a proprietary Seiko treatment for light scratches. The case back is solid screw-down. Water resistance is 100 m, sufficient for swimming and snorkeling.

Movement

The Seiko SSB399P1 is equipped with the 8T63 quartz caliber, with a power reserve of approximately 3 years. This caliber includes the chronograph function with a minute counter and a dedicated small seconds hand.

Strap

The Seiko SSB399P1 is equipped with a stainless steel bracelet, both robust and easy to maintain, closed by a deployant clasp, which makes it easy to put on and take off the watch while securing the bracelet on the wrist. The lug width is 22 mm.
