Case

The case of the Seiko SSB379P1 is made of stainless steel, with a diameter of 44 mm and a thickness of 11.2 mm. The bezel is fixed. The black dial is protected by a Hardlex crystal, a proprietary Seiko treatment for light scratches. The case back is solid screw-down. Water resistance is 100 m, sufficient for swimming and snorkeling.

Movement

The Seiko SSB379P1 is equipped with the quartz caliber 8T67, with a battery life of approximately 3 years. This caliber includes a chronograph function with a minute counter and a dedicated small seconds hand. The 8T67 differs from the 8T63 by its increased precision: ±10 seconds per month versus ±15 for its predecessor.

Bracelet

The Seiko SSB379P1 is equipped with a stainless steel bracelet, both robust and easy to maintain, secured by a folding clasp, which makes it easy to put on and take off the watch while securing the bracelet to the wrist. The lug width is 22 mm.
