Case

Made of stainless steel, the case of the Seiko SSB383P1 measures 44 mm in diameter and 11.2 mm thick. The bezel is fixed. The dial is protected by Hardlex glass, a proprietary Seiko treatment for light scratches. The case back is solid screwed. The water resistance is 100 m, sufficient for swimming and snorkeling.

Movement

The Seiko SSB383P1 is equipped with the 8T67 quartz caliber, with a battery life of approximately 3 years. This caliber includes the chronograph function with a minute counter and a dedicated small seconds hand. The 8T67 differs from the 8T63 by its increased precision: ±10 seconds per month compared to ±15 for its predecessor.

Strap

The leather strap of the Seiko SSB383P1, closed by a pin buckle, complements the case coherently. The lug width is 22 mm.
