Made of stainless steel, the case of the Seiko SSB427P1 measures 44 mm in diameter and 11.2 mm in thickness. The bezel is fixed. The dial is protected by a Hardlex crystal, a proprietary Seiko treatment for light scratches. The case back is solid screw-down. The water resistance is 100m, sufficient for swimming and snorkeling.
Movement
The Seiko SSB427P1 is equipped with the quartz caliber 8T63, with a battery life of approximately 3 years. This caliber includes a chronograph function with a minute counter and a dedicated small seconds sub-dial.
