The Seiko SUR565's case is made of stainless steel, with a diameter of 41 mm. The silver dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The case back is screwed down, enhancing robustness. Water resistance is 100 m (10 bar). The markers and hands are coated with LumiBrite. A cabochon crown adorns the case. The date display is positioned at 3 o'clock.
