Case

Made of stainless steel, the case of the Seiko SBTR017 measures 44 mm in diameter and 11.2 mm in thickness. The bezel is fixed. The dial is protected by Hardlex glass, a Seiko proprietary treatment for light scratches. The case back is solid screw-down. Water resistance is 100 m, sufficient for swimming and snorkeling.

Movement

The Seiko SBTR017 is equipped with the 8T63 quartz caliber, with a battery life of approximately 3 years. This caliber includes a chronograph function with a minute counter and a dedicated small second hand.

Strap

The stainless steel strap of the Seiko SBTR017, secured by a deployant clasp, complements the case consistently. The lug width is 22 mm.
