Seiko Presage SRPG07J1: Revived sixties aesthetics, domed sapphire glass

The Seiko SRPG07J1 is part of the Presage Style 60's collection. It revives the proportions and visual vocabulary of Seiko's 1960s dress watches: an elaborate black dial, slim indexes, and a domed glass. Caliber 4R35, 40.5 mm case, water-resistant to 50 m.

Case

Made of stainless steel, the case of the Seiko SRPG07J1 measures 40.5 mm in diameter and 12.6 mm in thickness. The bezel is fixed. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, the most scratch-resistant, with an anti-reflective coating. The case back is exhibition (transparent), allowing the movement to be observed in operation. The water resistance is 50 m, suitable for swimming and splashes.

Movement

The Seiko SRPG07J1 is powered by the automatic caliber 4R35, offering a power reserve of approximately 41 hours. It incorporates hacking (stop-seconds for precise time setting) and manual winding, two conveniences absent on the previous generation 7S26 caliber.

Bracelet

The stainless steel bracelet of the Seiko SRPG07J1, closed by a deployant clasp, complements the case with coherence. The lug width is 20 mm.
