The Seiko SRPG09J1 belongs to the Presage Style 60's range, which revisits the aesthetic of 1960s Japanese dress watches — domed black dial, minimalist indices, characteristic pastel or vibrant shades. 40.5 mm case, curved sapphire crystal, 4R35 caliber.

Case

The case of the Seiko SRPG09J1 is made of stainless steel, with a diameter of 40.5 mm and a thickness of 12.6 mm. The bezel is fixed. The black dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, the most scratch-resistant, with anti-reflective treatment. The case back is exhibition (transparent), allowing the movement to be observed in operation. The water resistance is 50 m, suitable for swimming and splashes.

Movement

The Seiko SRPG09J1 is powered by the automatic caliber 4R35, offering a power reserve of approximately 41 hours. It incorporates hacking (stopping the second hand for precise time setting) and manual winding, two conveniences absent on the previous generation 7S26 caliber.

Strap

The Seiko SRPG09J1 is equipped with a NATO-style nylon strap, light and breathable, ideal for sports use, fastened by a pin buckle, classic and easy to adjust. The lug width is 20 mm.
