The Seiko SPB213J1 is part of the Prospex line, the brand's high-end sports range. The Prospex collection has covered diving, altitude, and exploration since the 1960s; this 44.3 mm white model with 200 m water resistance is a modern and accessible representative.

Case

Made of stainless steel, the case of the Seiko SPB213J1 measures 44.3 mm in diameter and 13.4 mm in thickness. The unidirectional rotating bezel allows for precise measurement of dive times. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, the most scratch-resistant, with anti-reflective treatment. The case back is solid screw-down. Water resistance is 200 m, complying with ISO 6425 diving standards. The indexes and hands are coated with LumiBrite, Seiko's luminescent material for prolonged nocturnal readability.

Movement

The Seiko SPB213J1 is powered by the automatic caliber 6R35, offering a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The 6R caliber is the high-end of Seiko's standard automatic movements: it features hacking and manual winding, and offers a significantly higher power reserve than the 4R calibers.

Bracelet

The stainless steel bracelet of the Seiko SPB213J1, closed by a folding clasp, complements the case coherently. The lug width is 20 mm.
