The Seiko SRPL15K1 belongs to the Prospex collection, in the Samurai range. This diver stands out with its angular lugs and beveled sides, reminiscent of a katana blade. 42.5 mm case, 100 m water resistance, 4R36 caliber — a diving watch with a sharp aesthetic.

Case

The case of the Seiko SRPL15K1 is made of stainless steel, with a diameter of 42.5 mm and a thickness of 13 mm. The unidirectional rotating bezel allows for precise measurement of dive times. The black dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, the most scratch-resistant, with an anti-reflective coating. The case back is solid screw-down. The water resistance is 100 m, sufficient for swimming and snorkeling. The indexes and hands are coated with LumiBrite, Seiko's luminescent material for extended nighttime readability.

Movement

The Seiko SRPL15K1 is powered by the automatic caliber 4R36, offering a power reserve of approximately 41 hours. It includes hacking (stop-seconds for precise time setting) and manual winding, two conveniences absent on the previous generation 7S26 caliber.

Strap

The Seiko SRPL15K1 is equipped with a silicone strap, flexible and resistant to water and perspiration, secured by a pin buckle, classic and easy to adjust. The lug width is 22 mm.
