Made of stainless steel, the case of the Seiko SPB323J1 measures 44.3 mm in diameter and 13.4 mm in thickness. The unidirectional rotating bezel allows for precise measurement of diving times. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, the most scratch-resistant, with an anti-reflective coating. The case back is solid screw-down. The water resistance is 200 m, conforming to ISO 6425 diving standards. The indices and hands are coated with LumiBrite, Seiko's luminescent material for extended nighttime legibility.Movement

The Seiko SPB323J1 is powered by the automatic caliber 6R35, offering a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The 6R caliber is the high-end of Seiko's production automatic movements: it features hacking and manual winding, and offers a significantly higher power reserve than the 4R calibers.

Bracelet

The stainless steel bracelet of the Seiko SPB323J1, fastened by a folding clasp, complements the case coherently. The lug width is 20 mm.
