The Seiko Prospex Speedtimer SSC815P1 is part of the Prospex Speedtimer collection, inspired by the historical chronographs developed by Seiko for sports timing. This model stands out with its dark blue dial with a sandblasted finish, accompanied by contrasting sub-dials that allow for clear reading of the chronograph functions. The applied hands and indices are coated with LumiBrite to ensure excellent legibility in the dark, an essential characteristic of Prospex watches.

Case

The case is made of stainless steel and has a diameter of 39 mm with a thickness of approximately 13.3 mm. It is complemented by a black tachymeter bezel with red accents allowing for the measurement of average speed over a given distance. The dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. The watch offers water resistance of 10 bar (100 meters) and a lug width of 20 mm.

Movement

The Speedtimer SSC815P1 is powered by the Seiko V192 solar caliber, a quartz movement powered by natural or artificial light. A full charge provides a power reserve of approximately 6 months with an accuracy of approximately ±15 seconds per month. This movement includes a 1/5th of a second chronograph measuring up to 60 minutes, a 24-hour hand, a small seconds hand, a tachymeter, and a date display.

Bracelet

The watch is equipped with a solid and comfortable stainless steel bracelet, matching the case. It closes with a deployant clasp with push-button ensuring security and optimal fit on the wrist.
