The Seiko Prospex Speedtimer SSC909 belongs to the Prospex Speedtimer collection and is distinguished by its status as a limited edition of 10,000 pieces. This chronograph is directly inspired by Seiko's time-measuring instrument heritage, while adopting a contemporary style marked by a glacier blue dial contrasted by three black sub-dials. The applied indices and hands are treated with LumiBrite, ensuring excellent legibility in the dark.

Case

The case is made of stainless steel with a diameter of 39 mm and a thickness of approximately 13.3 mm. It is paired with a black tachymeter bezel allowing for the measurement of average speed over a given distance. The dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface. The whole ensures water resistance of 10 bar (100 meters) and a lug-to-lug distance of approximately 45.5 mm.

Movement

The Speedtimer SSC909 is powered by the Seiko V192 solar caliber, a quartz movement powered by natural or artificial light. A full charge provides a power reserve of approximately 6 months with an accuracy of approximately ±15 seconds per month. This movement includes a 1/5th second chronograph measuring up to 60 minutes, a 24-hour hand, a small second hand, a tachymeter, and date display.

Bracelet

The watch is equipped with a robust stainless steel bracelet, designed for daily wear. It fastens with a deployant clasp with push-button release ensuring security and comfort on the wrist.
